Leading-edge performance

Providing an electricity supply impacts on the lives of everyone within our region and we are committed to ensuring that all customers are very satisfied with the service they receive from us.

In this section you can find out how we aim to eliminate complaints to the electricity Regulator, Ofgem (Office of Gas and Electricity Markets), by getting our service to customers right first time, every time.

Our excellent performance in this area has been recognised through the Government's Charter Mark scheme.  We were first awarded this accolade in 1992 and we have maintained this standard continuously for the last 17 years.  We are proud to be the only energy company to have achieved this.

We were recently assessed against the government's new Customer Service Excellence Award which replaced Charter Mark from April 2010.  It is a much tougher standard to meet with over 100 elements of service delivery examined in detail.  We were awarded the new Customer Service Excellence standard from April 2010.
