Across our geographical area of responsibility we manage and maintain an 216,000 kms electricity distribution network serving 7.6m customers. The region is renowned for its spectacular countryside, dramatic coastline and rugged terrain, and as such demands the highest levels of environmental care and consideration.

 

While our operational activity is focused sharply on providing essential power for homes and businesses, around the clock, we also have a duty to assess the environmental impact of our work and to respond accordingly.
