WPD is committed to protecting the environment and recognises the role that renewable energy generation can have in helping individuals and organisations to combat climate change.   We are also committed to providing a safe and reliable electricity supply to you and your neighbours and therefore need to ensure that any new energy generation on the network will not affect our ability to do this.
