What are we looking for
We require a minimum of a 2nd Class Honours Degree Level in an electrical engineering discipline.
• Good clear communication: both written and verbal;
• Good numerical ability and problem solving skills;
• The ability to acquire and develop technical knowledge.
What we offer
Western Power Distribution offers a well-structured and comprehensive graduate scheme with a competitive salary. Our 18 month scheme comprises a mix of extensive formal training and hands-on placements throughout our company.
Graduates are able to gain experience of a range of different technical roles and business areas within our company, in addition to undertaking training relating to maintenance and operation of the high and low voltage networks. Upon completion of the programme graduates will be appointed to roles within Primary System Design as Design Engineers or alternatively graduates are able to apply for vacant positions in business areas such as Network Services, Major Projects and Future / Low Carbon Networks.
