Digitalisation & Data Use Cases Survey

Moving from today’s analogue system to a modern, digitalised energy system, is a critical step in enabling the UK’s transition to net zero carbon emissions while keeping the lights on for customers. The availability and utilisation of good quality and accessible data is key. This means providing increased access to the right data at the right time within our organisation and through open access to our customers and interested stakeholders. We know it’s vital to get customer and stakeholder feedback on our developments and with that in mind, we’d love to get your view on these use cases created as part of one of our innovation projects, Presumed Open Data, which are most relevant and importantly which should we focus on as we develop our Digitalisation Strategy.  You can provide feedback on the use cases identified in your area, whether that’s Local Authorities, Academic, Research or others, or you can provide feedback and comment on a number of areas. Each use case is presented in the format of an Action ‘what a user would like…’, and a Benefit ‘so that a user can…’. If you think there are any key use cases missing, you can let us know that too.

Digitalisation of the energy system is at the heart of our transition to build a smart and efficient energy system and we really appreciate your time to complete this survey and look forward to further engagement to shape our Digitalisation Strategy.

The survey will be open until 12pm on 17th July 2020.
