Balancing Act Conference

Nov 26 2019 - Nov 26 2019

Our Bi-Annual Balancing Act Event will be taking place on 26th November at One Birdcage Walk, London.

Discussions will include;

- An overview of our Multi Asset Demand Execution (MADE) project, which investigates the network, consumer and broader energy system implications of the combination of domestic Electric Vehicle charging with hybrid heating systems and solar PV generation.

- Our learning from our Next Generation Wireless Telecoms Analysis  project, which aimed to establish the technical characteristics for radio network deployment to enable real time operational control of our network.

- An update on one of our NIC projects - Electricity Flexibility and Forecasting Systems (EFFS) – which is aiming to define and support the new DSO functions in relation to using flexibility services in operational timeframes.

- The afternoon sessions will provide an in-depth overview of our OpenLV project. This project aims to  provide a common, low cost platform that can facilitate the deployment of different apps to suit the needs of the network, its customers, and the broader supply chain.  We will take a closer look at the 3 project methods and the learning so far, with an opportunity for Q&A.

This event is due  to close at 15.30.
