Energy Networks Association (ENA) will be hosting the second Electricity Innovation Forum, a joint dissemination event where Great Britain's distribution and transmission networks will share insights from their innovation work.

Energy Networks Association (ENA) will be hosting the second Electricity Innovation Forum, a joint dissemination event where Great Britain's distribution and transmission networks will share insights from their innovation work. As well as presentations, there will also be an opportunity to ask questions and network with innovation representatives from the electricity networks. 

Under the theme of New Technologies and Commercial Evolution, ENA's members will be presenting a range of exciting projects that are helping to deliver the future smart grid. These include the following, with more to be announced shortly: 

• Carbon Tracing - Western Power Distribution 
• Frequency Response Auction Trial - National Grid System Operator 
• Low Energy Automated Networks (LEAN) - Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks 
• Kent Active Management System (KASM) - UK Power Networks 
• Activating Community Engagement (ACE) - Northern Powergrid
