OpenLV: Making LV network data openly available webinar

Nov 26 2020 - Nov 26 2020

OpenLV is a three-and-a-half-year NIC project, managed by EA Technology and hosted by Western Power Distribution, that aimed to demonstrate the value of distributed intelligence on the local electricity networks and how community organisation, businesses and academia utilised the data that it made available to them. To celebrate the conclusion of this ground breaking project we are organising two free webinars to share learning.

The first webinar is being held on Tuesday 17th November, 2pm – 3pm and more details can be found on our events page.

The second webinar will explain what happened when we offered the data from 80 distributed intelligence LV-CAP® platforms to community organisations, businesses and academia – what these disparate organisations wanted to do with the data available, and how they utilised it when they received it.  Western Power Distribution will provide an overview of the legacy of this project and how they will take the Open Data principle that this project has informed, forward into their future working practices.
