We have scooped four top awards at the 2020 International Engage Awards, which were announced via a virtual ceremony last week.

The awards celebrate companies that have demonstrated excellent performance in customer and employee engagement.

Almost 140 awards finalists joined the ceremony online as the famous voice of Roger Tilling announced each of the 19 winners. We were up against well-known companies including Microsoft, Sainsbury’s, Coca-Cola, Nationwide, DPD, Royal bank of Scotland, British Gas, Northumbrian Water and Principality Building Society, taking home three gold awards and a bronze award, as well as being shortlisted for a further category with an honourable mention from the lead judge.

Steve Hurst, Chair of the International Engage Awards judges said: “In what has been a uniquely challenging and transformational time for our organisations, our colleagues and our customers, it has been truly inspirational to see such an incredibly high quality and quantity of entries to this year’s Awards. The standard and level of entries to our ‘crisis’ categories is testament to how organisations have stepped up to the plate in these unprecedented times.

“Our winners came from a variety of industries, but we must give a special mention to our triple winners Western Power Distribution, who were named winners in ‘Best Customer Service Team’, ‘Best Customer Contact Strategy in a Crisis’ and ‘Best Use of Innovation in Customer Engagement’. This is a real testament to the team to achieve so much in such uncertain times.”

Contact Manager Chris Griffiths said: “We constantly strive to deliver excellent levels of customer service to all of our customers and these awards show that we’re on the right track. We’re very proud of our staff and delighted that their hard work has been recognised in this way.”
