New Flexibility Requirements Published
We have published our intention to procure 93.4MW of new demand response services via our Flexible Power brand.
The 93.4MW is across 12 zones which all have a need within 2019/20. We have also signposted ongoing needs to 2023/24.
A postcode checker is available to help interested parties determine if they have a suitable site inside these zones.
Full details of the requirements in each zone have been published on the Flexible Power website. The information includes: zone locations, which months each zone needs flexibility, the required availability windows and the MWhs needed within each month.
Our Network Strategy Manager Ben Godfrey said: “Our 2019 demand response requirements cement our commitment to offering network solutions that put flexibility first.
“Through our Flexible Power website we are continuing to provide clear and reliable visibility of our needs so potential participants can have certainty around the value available to them.”
