Teams wanted for Trek Malvern Challenge

Our colleagues, friends and families are being invited to take part in a stunning trek across the Malvern Hills to help support those living with arthritis.

Organised by Arthritis in Action and sponsored by WPD, the event is set to take place on Saturday June 18. Individuals or teams are able register to take on either a nine or 18 mile route, guided by experienced mountain leaders. Registration for the event is free, but participants will need to pledge a minimum of £250 sponsorship.

Hinckley-based Planner, Mateusz Grygierzec has already signed up to take part. “I took part in a trek for the charity last year which was very enjoyable and couldn’t wait to sign up again this year. The Malvern Hills are beautiful I’m looking forward to taking on the challenge and raising funds for this great cause.”

As a major employer in the Midlands, Southwest England and South Wales, we believe we have a responsibility to play a full and active role in the communities we serve. 

“Many of us know family members and friends affected by arthritis and we wanted to show our support for this worthwhile cause. We are excited to be on board for Trek Malvern in 2022 and continue our support over this very special 80th anniversary year.”
