We have been shortlisted at the Institute of Engineering's 2019 Innovation Awards

We've made it to the final! We're delighted to announce that our Network Equilibrium project has been shortlisted by the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) as a finalist in the Power and Energy category at their 2019 Innovation Awards.

We've been shortlisted for the innovative solutions to voltage and power flow control using real-time dynamic voltage systems and the first of a kind Medium Voltage Direct Current (MVDC) application used as part of the project, with the aim to improving the electricity network by unlocking capacity to accommodate the increasing amount of low carbon technologies.

We'll be finding out if we're the winner on 13 November at a ceremony at the Brewery in Central London hosted by journalist, presenter and comedian Alex Brooker.
