We have been shortlisted for six awards in the 2021 Engage Awards
Our strong customer service performance has again been recognised as it has featured widely in the shortlist for a series of awards.
We have been named as a finalist for six award categories in the 2021 Engage Awards with the winners due to be announced at an awards ceremony on December 2.
The annual International Engage Awards celebrate the successes of industry-leaders across all sectors in the business world, with categories covering all aspects of customer and employee engagement.
Fending off competition from hundreds of other businesses from across the globe, we were the only electricity or gas distribution business to be shortlisted for the awards.
Following a rigorous judging process which saw its award entries scrutinised by a panel of 23 industry experts, we have been shortlisted for Best Customer Contact Strategy in a Crisis, Best Use of Customer Insight, Best Use of Innovation in Customer Engagement, Best use of Technology in Customer Engagement and two entries for Most Effective Remote Working Program.
WPD External Affairs Manager, Michael Clarke, said: “The key driver for implementing improvements in customer engagement is to ensure that our customers benefit, however, we are delighted to be formally recognised in these prestigious awards; it is testament to all of the teams involved and their continuous hard work.”
