System Wide Resource Register
The System Wide Resource Register (SWRR) has been developed to provide better information to electricity network stakeholders on connected resources and network services. The register implements an industry agreed format which has been developed through an ENA Open Networks project and has been adopted by all Distribution Network Operators. It provides information on generation and storage resources (≥1MW) that are connected, or accepted to connect, to Western Power Distribution’s distribution network and will be updated on a monthly basis. The register also includes information about Flexibility Services that are being provided by connected resources, including flexible demand. The register will be expanded in July 2020 with further information which will include details about network reinforcements.
For this release of the register, some data fields have been redacted as DNOs are restricted by the Utility Act and other Network Codes from publishing information that would identify specific resources. Modifications to network codes are being progressed to overcome these restrictions. Subject to these modifications being agreed, all of the data fields will then be published.
This resource register is WPD’s contribution to the System Wide Resource Register (SWRR) which has been developed through an ENA Open Network project. The information contained here will be updated monthly. Whilst we use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the data contained within resource register is accurate, we do not accept any responsibility or liability for, the accuracy or the completeness of the content or any loss which may arise from reliance on the resource register and related information.
