We recognise that we have an important role to play, not just to provide outstanding service to customers and keep the lights on, but to do business in a way that supports the wellbeing of our colleagues, the environment and the communities we serve.

NGED's Social Contract outlines our commitment to be a good corporate citizen, demonstrating the purpose and values that underpin everything we do as a company.

The three key focus areas: ‘our customers and communities’, ‘our people’ and ‘our environment’, bring together our wide-reaching efforts to deliver positive social and environmental impact within a single strategy. Each year, we update the Social Contract with a progress report and action plan.
