WPD Innovation team and Drive Electric would like to invite you to attend our Webinar for the Electric Nation project which will be held on October 28^th at 1pm.

Electric Nation is one of the world’s largest domestic smart charging projects. The project aims to understand how people charge their EV’s at home, and then trial cutting edge smart charging algorithms to reduce and move any peaks in loading. Alongside managed charging, the trial also trialled Time of Use tariffs to incentivise charger use when more capacity was available. The final part of the project saw us deploy 3 Nichicon Vehicle to Grid (V2G) chargers onto the network. This technology is gaining traction in the EV world, and may be used as a tool to support the network in a future scenario. The main aim of this trial was to trial several algorithms against units in the real world and asses the network for impact.
