Zero Carbon Business Portal Webinar

Apr 16 2021 - Apr 16 2021

The government has launched ambitious targets for the reduction of the UK’s greenhouse gas emissions to Net Zero by 2050. The changes needed mean that all businesses need to phase out all emissions within the next few decades.

For many SMEs, the changes needed to deliver net-zero seem daunting, so working together with the FSB, British Chambers of Commerce and energy networks from across the UK, we are developing a new portal – ZeroCarbonBusiness - that gives small and medium size businesses objective, clear and easy to follow advice and support on how to get started and get ahead of the targets.

On 12th April we will publish our report from the ‘discovery’ phase, which sets out the next steps for developing this service. The findings drawn from previous and new primary research indicate the need for small businesses to be given clear, trustworthy advice about what steps to take.

Join us for a special presentation on Friday 16th & 23rd April from 09:30-11:00 and hear from fellow SME business leaders on the challenges of delivering net-zero, how small businesses can make meaningful changes and what we’ve learned so far on what SMEs need to deliver carbon reductions.

SIGN UP HERE FOR THE 16TH

The presentation is open to ALL SMEs and there will be opportunities for questions and the chance to view the portal ahead of full launch.

If you're not able to attend on Friday 16th April, please click here to RSVP to the event on Friday 23rd April.

Please note, these events will cover the same topics, so you do not need to attend both.
