Staff magazine shortlisted

Our staff magazine, Powerlines, has been shortlisted as best internal publication by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).

Powerlines has been shortlisted with five other publications as part of the 2016 CIPR Excellence Awards - public relations’ longest-running and most rigorous awards scheme.



Now in its 32nd year, the awards reward best practice in public relations and acknowledge personal and team achievement at the highest professional level across the UK, Europe and beyond.

We are the only utility business to have our magazine shortlisted for the top award. The next stage of the judging process will involve the magazine editors being put through their paces at face-to-face interview with a panel of expert category judges.

The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on June 8, 2016 attended by approximately 800 guests.
