Voltage Reduction Analysis investigated the effects of reducing voltage on the network. After dropping the target voltage on the 11kV network in the East Wales, Cardiff and Swansea areas, the University of Bath analysed over 200 million data points. This highlighted a statistically significant reduction in electricity consumption which if implemented across the whole of South Wales could benefit customers an estimated £14.9 million a year. 

The webinar will discuss the project, the data and the results and will give you an opportunity to see how subtle changes in network operation can deliver large benefits.

The event will take place on 5 July 2016 from 14:30 to 15:30 with a 30 minute presentation followed for a 30 minute Q&A session.
